Realtime: Addition Trunk Groups Status Data Source Instance

You need to see what is going on right now, as the action unfolds on your Trunk Groups. That's why Brightmetrics has added a new Data Source Instance to the Realtime Module: Trunk Group Status. As a stakeholder in your organization's technical solutions, you've likely been able to get a lot of valuable information from the historical reporting available through Brightmetrics regarding your Trunk Groups, but sometimes you need to have in the moment situational awareness of the load on your Trunk Groups and be able to monitor in real time how many trunks are being used. With the introduction of Trunk Group Status, you'll be able to configure Real Time Dashboards that allow this perspective in a number of different ways that can be tailored for your organization.

You can begin configuring your charts that leverage the Realtime Trunk Group Status by following these steps:

1) Select Edit Dashboard on the Sidebar Menu

2) Select the Dashboard you want to edit to include this chart on, or simply select Create Chart on a new Dashboard

3) Select the ShoreTel Realtime Data Source Group from the dropdown in the Data Selection Menu

4) Select the Realtime Trunk Group Status from the dropdown in the Data Source Instance in Data Selection Menu

Once you've selected the new Data Source Instance, you'll be able to configure your chart through the standard Chart Options pop-up, and an example chart would measure in Realtime your active inbound and outbound calls as a percentage of your trunk utilization

You can leverage the filters of "Site Name" and/or "Trunk Group Name" as needed within this configuration.  NOTE: Make sure to select at least one site or trunk group -- if you do not select any trunk groups to monitor, the chart will be blank. Below captures a sample configuration (without these filters applied) of a dashboard chart to support this:
